Thin Veneer

In 2011, we saw the need to produce our own ”Natural” Thin Veneer Stone. Faux Stone had been around for some time and was used for its lightweight ability and simple installation process. Popular in commercial applications due to speed of installation, Thin Stone started catching on in the residential market for accent walls, second story applications, shower walls, backsplashes, and etc. However, Faux stone is made of concrete and has a painted surface. Once cut, the exposed concrete inside was hard to disguise. The Natural Thin Stone suppliers (quarries) had Thin Veneer operations but were limited to the few products they supplied. We needed the ability to cut any stone and have a quick turnaround. Now we cut Natural Thin Stone along with custom Ledgestone Blends.
